APPEARANCE:
Ruth is a massive, thick furred Maine Coon weighing in at 27lbs. His eyes are a rich coppery color. He has large paws and a very muscular build. His ears are tipped with the "lynx tufts", a trait that many loved in Maine Coons. Ruth is a brown mackerel tabby bicolor. He has on a green collar.

DEFINING TRAIT: His green collar and a small tear in his left ear from a fight.

OVERVIEW: Ruth is overall a very territorial cat. He tends to defend relentlessly anything that is his. He often is able to use his size alone to keep others away. Though he fights if need be. He is generally slower, having more mass. Though his fighting spirit drives him and being do large allows him to overwhelm his opponents. He loves to relax though in the sun or play in the snow. Even though he prefers to drive other cats away he is of course very accepting of cats younger than a year as he knows that is a vital time for learning. So he typically lets younger cats more allowance to roam his territory. Though once they are a year he will usually not let them any more privileges unless he has ended up growing a close bond with them. He prefers to shelter from the rain as his thick coat makes it hard to dry off. He also doesn't typically go where he could end up drowning as his fur would drag him down. He also is very cautious when crossing roads as he fears the idea of death by a cat. Ruth typically will teach other cats what he knows if they were kittens or are kittens. Though he never takes on one at a time, but instead teaches as they come. He is impatient though and tends to eventually lose interest. Ruth is a cunning cat though and loyal to friends. He will become very protective of them, as well as his food and turf. Ruth is a diverse cat, but overall more of a typical one in some senses.

HISTORY:
Ruth was born a house cat and lived so through his first twelve weeks. Upon going to a newer home he was allowed to roam eventually and started to learn the tricks of the trade. As he grew he came across many other cats which often ousted him. Though becoming larger in size it allowed him to become more intimidating. Most commonly in fights the larger cat won the scrap, and of course Maine Coons were notorious for their size. He soon became a seasoned fighter and ended up staking his territory on a large range. He still goes inside with his people at night though. He has lived with them for a long time and has been raised very well. Yet he is fixed. So he has no need to have any kits. His young years were spent mostly exploring and staking his claim. Now at four he has taken a large chunk of the area as his own. This gives him access to good hunting. Which he ended up learning through play with his people. He would then start hunting real animals. Over time he was able to perfect his technique and become an avid hunter.
