	The Quarry - 1 Viewing Humans use to take rocks from this deep hole, but it is now covered in vines and grass. It is very dangerous to cats who are new to the land. It is surrounded by bushes, and very hard to see.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	Marshes The west side of Pawprint Island is covered in marshes. Perfect for cats who love bugs and frogs.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	Brook's Cliff At 72 meters above sea level this cliff is the highest point of Pawprint Island. At the top you can see almost everything in the area. There are tons of caves, and even a waterfall.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	Shoreline White sandy beaches cover the shoreline. It can be crowded with cats who love the water, but at other times you can be completely alone.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.

Pawprint Island

Pawprint Island is a large island, with no resemblance to a paw print. In order to get to it a cat must swim. The island is covered with large trees, and berry bushes coat the sandy soil.

-------PLOT-------
Ever since Milwood was founded cats have roamed the area. At first they fought over the lands, trying to claim what they could. Many cats were injured in this process, but one very smart group of cats came up with an idea. They joined together to claim territory that they could all share, they gathered prey for each other as if they were large family.

But it's hard to have a group with an undecided leadership. Milwood Cats began to argue amongst themselves about who got to join their ranks and other important decisions.

The Claws (known to the Paws as Dark Cats), believed that Milwood Cats should only accept Alley Cats. That way no one ever had learn how to hunt or fight. They believed the group should be very separate, only interacting with each other when they needed protection.

The Paws (known by the Claws as Kitten Hearts), thought that they would be stronger together. If they accepted House Cats, and spent a lot of time together. They would be a stronger force. They also believed in a group of cats to make decisions.

Eventually the description came to be in favor of the Paws, the group was even renamed Milwood Paws. Five cats were chosen to be decision makers. Rain, Kitten, Gloria, Leaf, and Red.

Three of these cats (Rain, Gloria, and Red) were 'Paws', Leaf was a 'Claw', and so was Kitten, but she hid that fact from the other leaders. No one thought that she was a Claw, due to her name being Kitten. Inside the leadership, she began to collect cats to rebel against Milwood Paws.

She grew in power, but tragically she was killed by a cat who found out about her 'Claw' status. Her plan was almost destroyed, but tension in the group emerged. Claws were mad that Kitten was killed and took over the rebellion.

Members of the Claws were exiled from the group.

Milwood Paws started to spread a warning about these Dark Cats to other Milwood residents. Soon the group became known not as the Dark Cats, but as Darkness.

These Darkness cats, who had spread out across the city, decided that since they already were feared, they would take over Milwood.

A new leadership emerged in this new generation, even though it had been against what original Claws believed. Kitten's son and Leaf's daughter, Mouse and Rags, became the leaders, and three other cats were chosen as deputies. The deputies were in charge of punishing cats who went against Darkness.

Darkness spent a few more years gathering forces. Some Milwood Paws grew scared and joined Darkness ranks. Finally when the groups were evenly matched Darkness got their revenge.

On a dark night they kidnapped one of Milwood Paws kittens and took him to a graveyard in the suburbs. The Milwood Paws followed, eager to get their kitten back. Then the battle started. It lasted a few days, Darkness fighting until they had enough cats to outnumber Milwood Paws three to one.

They gave the remaining Milwood Paws the chance to get out of Milwood. Many of the Milwood Paws escaped to the rural areas by following the train tracks.

Generations have passed since the battle the stories of Milwood Paws stays fresh in Milwood resident's minds. Darkness still rules the area.

Rumors have it, that Milwood Paws members are coming back. This time renamed as Sunlight.
